It will welcome you to FNB Cellphone Banking and ask you to select reply / answer on your cellphone and key in your 5-digit Cellphone Banking PIN.
Select 'Prepaid'
Select 'Recharge'
Select 'Electricity'
Select the account from which you wish to transact
Key in the meter number
Select the electricity amount
Confirm the electricity amount
It will inform you whether the transaction was successful
It will display a screen informing you that the transaction was successful and a token number will be sent to your cellphone.

Online Banking

Login to your Online Banking profile
Select 'Buy'
Select 'Electricity'
Select the amount in the dropdown menu for which you would like to buy electricity under 'Buy Amount'
Select the account which needs to be debited
Select 'Buy'
Ensure that your meter number is correct since no refunds will be made for electricity purchased for the incorrect meter number
Accept the terms and conditions
Select 'Confirm'
Enter your One Time Pin (OTP)
Select 'Confirm'
Select 'Finish' to complete the process

You can retrieve your token number from the 'Purchase History' page. If your payment is not confirmed, check your 'Purchase History' before you try again, to avoid duplication.

FNB ATM

Put your ATM card into the ATM
Key in your PIN number
The ATM will inform you to wait while confirming your details
Choose 'More options'
Choose 'Buy It / Pay It'
Choose 'Prepaid Electricity'
Select 'Proceed' or 'Enter' to accept the terms and conditions
Key in the 11-digit meter number that you want to buy electricity for and then select 'Proceed'
The ATM will prompt you to verify that the meter number you entered is correct
Key in the amount of electricity that you want to buy
The ATM will inform you to wait while confirming your details
Choose the account from which you want your money to be deducted
Check that your details are correct and confirm by selecting 'Proceed'
Next, you will get a receipt with your token number

Get your voucher number

After completing your transaction on any of the FNB channels you will get a token number that you need to enter on your meter to recharge your prepaid electricity meter.

Retrieve your token number

Select 'Buy'
Select 'Electricity'
Select 'Purchase History'
Select the product bought (also check the date)
Select the token number under 'Electricity Token'
